Welcome!

     Welcome to Kings High School!

On behalf of the faculty and staff I would like to personally welcome you
to Kings High School. As Principal, I am proud to acknowledge that our
school has proven to be one of the most challenging and accomplished
high schools in the nation. Our well-deserved strong academic
reputation does not happen coincidentally without an incredible
teaching and support staff. Our school is a cooperative enterprise on the
part of the pupils, teachers, support staff, parents, and administration
who work together for the common interest of the community in which
we serve. We are very proud of our excellent facilities and welcome
everyone in the community to share with others, with PRIDE, your
     experience here today.

We believe academic achievement is enhanced through participation in
the arts, athletics, and extracurricular activities. The Kings High School
students participating in the Band this evening are some of our most
accomplished scholars! The time they dedicate to practice, perform and
also make excellent grades in the classroom is impressive beyond
measure. The Kings High School Band Boosters and parents put in
countless hours, 12 months out of the year, to make sure our students
have the most pleasurable experience in band possible. The supportive
parents you see working tonight are some of the most passionate and
dedicated people I know. They want nothing more than for you, our
guests, to have the most positive experience imaginable today. I am
confident they will succeed at their goal.

I feel very privileged, proud, and honored to serve as the Principal of
Kings High School. My goal is to make the “Kings Knights Way” become
the pathway for our students to maximize their academic performance,
to identify their passions in life, and to follow their dreams.

The Principal’s door is always open! “Win the day. Make today a “W”

     Doug Leist, Principal
